Monthly Roundup – July 2026

July has been a month of celebrating our people, giving back, and investing in the future.

From our quarterly team building day and annual Golden Geckos Awards, to welcoming a work experience student through our Grow Getters initiative, it’s been another month full of learning, laughter and recognising the people who make TMPR what it is.

Quarterly Team Building Day

Before we knew it, it was time for another of our quarterly team building days, bringing the whole team together to reflect on how TMPR continues to grow and evolve.

The morning focused on our values, revisiting what they mean in practice, appointing our new Value Champions and making sure they’re embedded across everything we do, both internally and externally. We also reviewed a few of our internal policies to ensure they continue to support the business as we grow.

In the spirit of #HavingFun, the team then headed to Brân for an afternoon of board games, where there was some spirited competition!

A big shoutout to Jessica for organising yet again another fun and creative team building day.

Golden Geckos

July also saw the return of one of our annual traditions – the Golden Geckos!

One year on from its inaugural launch, the awards celebrated the three team members who received the most Gecko Gong nominations throughout the year.

A huge congratulations to this year’s winners:

🦎 Oliver Thorne

But the celebrations didn’t stop there.

At TMPR, we know that every member of the team plays an important role in helping the agency grow and delivering great work for our clients. That’s why, alongside celebrating our three Golden Geckos, every member of the team received a £50 voucher as a thank you for everything they’ve contributed over the past year.

Congratulations to our fantastic winners, and a huge thank you to Louise Morgan for such a generous and thoughtful surprise.

Supporting Greyhound Rescue Wales

This month, we were proud to donate £500 to Greyhound Rescue Wales, supporting the fantastic work they do helping retired racing greyhounds find loving forever homes.

The charity was chosen by our TMPR 15th birthday quiz champions, Rhian Drummond and Hollie Amelia Edwards, who decided to donate their winning prize to such a worthy cause after coming out on top in one of Jess’ famously competitive quizzes.

Congratulations to Rhian and Hollie, and thank you to everyone at Greyhound Rescue Wales for the incredible work you do.

Empowering Growth

This month we welcomed A-Level student Oli to 2HT for a week’s work experience through Cardiff Commitment‘s What’s Next Award programme as part of our #GrowGetters initiative.

Oli spent the week working alongside our Empowering Growth value champion, Jessica Hollyman, learning about the operational side of the agency before spending time with our marketing, PR and design teams to gain a real insight into agency life.

From live client research tasks to trying out our ClassVR headsets, Oli threw himself into every opportunity with enthusiasm, confidence and a willingness to learn.

A huge thank you to Cardiff Commitment for helping organise the placement, and well done, Oli, on a fantastic week.

Good luck, Rach

As we wave goodbye to July, we’re also saying farewell to Rachel as she begins an exciting new chapter, launching her freelance career.

The team came together for drinks and dinner to give Rach the send-off she deserves and celebrate everything she’s contributed during her time at TMPR.

We wish Rach all the very best with this exciting new venture and look forward to continuing to work with her in a new way.

Good luck, Rach – we’ll certainly miss the positivity you bring to the office!

See you next month!
