We’ve got some exciting news we’ve been dying to share…
TMPR is thrilled to announce the launch of its very own brand new educational engagement programme — Grow Getters!
Here at TMPR, we believe that the future of communications is bright — that’s why we’ve launched Grow Getters! A space to shape the next generation of marketing and PR, support creative thinkers, confident communicators and bold brand-builders.
Grow Getters has been in the pipeline for a while — and now that we’ve got a shiny new, more spacious home and a fast-growing team, the time is finally ripe to bring this project to life!
The programme will be available for students from primary school all the way up to university, supporting little, teen and grad Grow Getters. Whether they’re picking up pencils in primary school or prepping for postgrads, Grow Getters is for students of all ages who want to discover more about the world of communications.
Grow Getters is TMPR’s way of bridging the gap between the classroom and the communications world. We’re opening up our doors and getting involved with local students through hands-on, practical workshops, art projects, mentoring sessions and more.
For primary schools; we’re kicking things off with an art competition to spark creativity and imagination in young minds. It’s all about giving little people freedom to explore and express big ideas – and have fun while doing it! Plus, it’s our way of giving back to the community that supports us.
To begin our mission with secondary school Grow Getters, we’ve partnered with Working Options to deliver engaging talks in schools and colleges throughout the academic year. We’ll also be hosting ‘taster days’ at the TMPR office. Students will try their hand at real comms projects and get a feel for the many roles and avenues in marketing. First up: St Cyres School in early July.
Our practical workshops are aimed at second-year undergrads across South Wales who are curious about careers in communications. These sessions are all about building confidence, exploring career paths, and learning new skills – and there’s even the chance to get a paid placement at TMPR.
“This scheme is about more than just career awareness,” says TMPR Director, Louise Morgan. “It’s about empowering students across a range of ages to build confidence, creativity, and an understanding of the impact powerful communication has in business and society today.
“Grow Getters is something we’ve been wanting to initiate for a long time. We’re so excited to see the creativity within pupils and students across a range of ages, and the potential they’ll bring into the future of communications.”
Whether you’re a teacher, parent or student — we’d love to hear from you.
