Say Hello to Toma, Our New Business Intern!
We’re kicking off the new year with some exciting news – join us in welcoming to the team our new Business Intern, Toma Seronaite.
Toma joins us from Cardiff University on a five-month integrated work placement to gain real-life experience to complement her studies in Business Management. She is the latest in a long line of student placements to join TMPR, but the first from Cardiff Business School. The placement was created in response to the business need to evaluate and improve operational processes following a period of accelerated growth (we grew 50% in 2024, alone!)
Louise Morgan, TMPR Director commented: “We have worked with the Cardiff University student internship team since 2018. We’re really pleased to have Toma on board and are looking forward to working with her as our first Business Intern! As an agency we believe in providing workplace opportunities for students to experience life in industry alongside their academic studies to help further their development. During Toma’s placement, we aim to support her in finding ways to improve our business performance and prepare for the next stages of our growth. The business is at an exciting stage and Toma joining is a great opportunity to help us take the next step.”
Toma, with the support of Louise, will be working on a mini project over the five-month placement to review our business processes and identify ways to improve them. With a keen interest in creating efficient processes and researching new initiatives, we can’t wait to hear her insights and fresh ideas on how we can develop the business over the coming weeks!
“My first few weeks at TMPR have exceeded all expectations, and I’m truly excited for what’s to come. I’ve already made a start by looking into the fundamental way TMPR operates. The team has been extremely welcoming and very helpful. This is my first full time role, and I couldn’t be happier to have a supportive group around me.”
Outside of work, Toma enjoys travelling to new places, trying out different foods, and putting her creative skills to the test with an arts and craft project. She also likes staying active by taking part in new sports and socialising with friends. A fan of Cardiff itself, Toma enjoys walking around Bute Park, especially to see people with their pets. A devoted member of Team Cat, Toma misses her own furry friend, Fifi, while she’s away from home and is finding comfort hearing about all the team’s pets here in Cardiff.
Welcome to the team, Toma!
