Establishing a digital brand presence for HM Morgan

the HM Morgan logo

After a change in ownership, HM Morgan Engineers, a Caerphilly-based engineering firm, needed to overhaul its branding and digital presence.

Founded in the 1960s, the company has maintained a reputation for solid and reliable work for over 60 years but lacked the kind of digital presence that drives growth in 2025.

New managing director and long-time TMPR contact, Nick Robbins, knew that HM Morgan had strong foundations and was full of potential. All it needed was a nudge to take things to the next level – so he contacted TMPR to help unlock the opportunity.

TMPR immediately teamed up with Nick and got cracking to revamp the brand, crafting a fresh logo and website, and launching a LinkedIn presence built to connect and convert.

Solution

Our first step was to dig into the company. What was HM Morgan Engineers all about?

Two things stood out:

  • Its heritage from the 1960s
  • The name everyone in the local industry still used – “Morgans”

These elements became the foundation of a new brand. A strong, clear logo that highlighted the firm’s history, while still feeling fresh and modern. It tells new and returning customers that even with an updated image the firm is still “Morgans”. The strong, recognisable colour palette, based on existing signage, would stand out on-site, websites, even on trucks and heavy-duty equipment.

Our next step was a website update, making it clear, engaging, and built to show exactly what HM Morgan can do. From a friendly breakdown of services to a capacity list that’s front and centre, everything on the site is built around helping visitors see the full scale of HM Morgan’s expertise.

Outcomes

The transformation speaks for itself. HM Morgan Engineers now has a modern, cohesive brand and a digital presence that’s as strong as steel. The new look has already attracted attention and offered fresh opportunities for growth. The branding was even on-show in time for a visit from Jo Stevens, Secretary of State for Wales!

This project brought out the best in HM Morgans Engineers and showed how TMPR can shine for local businesses. Understanding the essence of a brand and helping it cut through to customers in South Wales and beyond.
